By accessing or using ClearSite Studio's website or services you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Description of service

ClearSite Studio provides audio conversion (DSS/DS2 to WAV), transcription (with or without human proofreading), and content conversion & transformation services. Work is arranged by contacting us directly - the website does not accept file uploads, does not create online orders, and does not process payment.

Pricing shown on our pricing page is a starting point for a quote. The final price for your project is confirmed with you individually, based on your specific requirement, before any work begins. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the service continues to develop, and we will communicate significant changes on this site.

Acceptable use

You agree to use our services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, our services by anyone else.

You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent any technical limits or security measures we put in place.

Prohibited content

You may not submit audio, documents, or any other content that: is illegal or promotes illegal activity; infringes any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property or privacy right; contains malicious code; or that you do not have the legal right to have processed, transcribed, converted, or stored.

We reserve the right to decline a project, or to stop work already in progress, for anyone who violates this section.

Payment terms

There is no online checkout, payment button, or automated payment workflow on our website. Pricing is discussed and agreed with you individually - based on the rates shown on our pricing page for standard services, or a custom quote for content conversion & transformation projects - before we begin work.

Once you agree to a price, payment is arranged privately, using a mutually agreed method. We do not display UPI IDs, payment links, or payment instructions publicly - these are shared with you directly once your requirement and price are confirmed.

India pricing is quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). U.S./International pricing, where shown, is quoted in US Dollars (USD) as an independently set commercial price for that market - it is not calculated from the daily INR-to-USD exchange rate, and both may be adjusted from time to time. Please refer to the current pricing on our website when you contact us.

Refunds

Because work begins only after you have agreed to a price and made payment, refund arrangements are agreed with you directly as part of that engagement. If we fail to deliver the service you paid for, contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund where appropriate.

Intellectual property

You retain all ownership rights to the content you send us and to the transcripts, converted files, and documents we produce for you. We do not claim ownership over your content.

The ClearSite Studio website, branding, and underlying tools are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our website except as this service is intended to be used.

Service availability

We aim to keep our website available and our turnaround times reliable, but our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Processing takes place offline and turnaround varies with the nature and volume of your project.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, with reasonable notice where practical.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClearSite Studio and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services, including loss of data, business, or profits.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim, to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may decline or discontinue work for anyone who violates these terms, misuses the service, or poses a security or legal risk to us or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services evolve. We will update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India, except where applicable law requires otherwise for customers in other jurisdictions.
